REE Automotive has revealed Leopard, an autonomous concept based on an ultra-modular EV platform design. The full-scale concept has been designed for last-mile autonomous and electric delivery companies, delivery fleet operators, e-retailers, and technology companies seeking to build fully autonomous solutions.

The company’s autonomous delivery fleets will allow customers to build autonomous and electric vehicle fleets according to their required specifications with a large interior space for transporting people and goods. The technology behind the fleets can be integrated with any top hat and autonomous hardware.

Leopard is 3.4 m in length with front-wheel-steer, rear-wheel-drive and has a 2-tonne gross vehicle weight rating. It also features a 50kWh vehicle battery, has a top speed of 60mph, a cargo volume of 180 ft3 and an X-by-wire system for drive, steer, and brake control. The concept is based on REE’s modular EV platform and will support a variety of mission specific vehicles.
