Intel intends to take Mobileye public in the U.S in mid-2022 through an initial public offering (IPO) of newly issued Mobileye stock. The move will create a separate publicly traded company. The technology corporation said that it will remain the majority owner of Mobileye, and that the two companies will continue to work together as strategic partners.
Mobileye will retain its executive team, with Amnon Shashua staying as the company’s CEO. Moovit and Intel teams working on LiDAR and radar development, and other Mobileye projects, will be aligned as part of Mobileye.
