The Autotech Council has unveiled the program for its 2021 Annual Science Fair. The fair is an annual event which takes place both online and in-person (in Milpitas, CA) for vaccinated participants.

Autotech’s fair provides car makers, vendors, start-ups, academics, and investors with the opportunity to promote their innovations, products and co-development projects in a show-and-tell format. Hundreds of tech scouts and business development executives from the automotive, transportation, and mobility industries visit the Science Fair to shop for innovation, search for synergies, and brainstorm potential use cases. The fair’s MatchMaker meeting service provides pre-arranged, private meetings between these participants, Autotech Members and exhibitors based on mutual interest (available onsite on Oct 14 and online on Oct 15).

The fair itself hosts several kinds of exhibitions based on its dual online and on-site format. On-site, visitors can discover new mobility and automotive technologies, PoCs, and products at the fair’s various exhibit tales. Likewise, online exhibits provide a digital space to view projects, demos and products through the council’s online portal. Users can search by company, technology, or person and send a meeting request via the MatchMaker service.

In addition to these experiences, the fair also provides demos of several of the cars and technologies exclusive to its onsite. These Parking Lot Demos allow onsite attendees to experience new technologies first-hand. Across the fair, onsite exhibits will be staffed by engineers ready to answer any questions attendees have about the technology on show.
